Rx Safety Frames for Private-Label Programs

Suncute makes prescription (Rx) safety frames for safety eyewear brands and Rx safety programs. Frames are built to ANSI Z87.1 and ISO 16321 in titanium, stainless steel, Monel or injection materials, with side shields available, and developed to each customer's spec in our own factory.

Built for lab glazing

Rx safety frames work only if your lab's lenses seat the same way in every frame. We hold a Tier-1 German optical retailer's highest quality grade, in a network that cuts every lens centrally to one groove spec. Our safety frames run to the same groove tolerance, so centrally edged Rx lenses fit frame after frame.

Standards

Frames are tested to ANSI Z87.1 and ISO 16321 and are CE marked. Z87-2 marking is completed by your lab: after glazing and engraving the Rx lenses, the finished eyewear is retested. We supply the frames and our Z87.1 and ISO 16321 certificates for that step.

We manufacture for a leading European safety eyewear brand. Our factory is ISO 9001 certified, FDA registered and SMETA audited, and tooling, production and QC are all in-house.

MOQ and lead time

Metal and titanium: 600 pieces per model (200 per color). No mold needed.

Injection: 3,000 pieces per model (600 per color). Mold cost covered by the factory at this MOQ.

Rx safety frames FAQ

Do you mark frames Z87-2?+
Z87-2 marking is done by your lab: after glazing and engraving the Rx lenses, the finished eyewear is retested. We supply frames tested to ANSI Z87.1 and ISO 16321, plus our certificates for that step.
What is the MOQ for Rx safety frames?+

Can you develop Rx safety frames to our spec under our brand?+
Yes. We develop each frame to your spec for private-label programs, from design brief and tooling to production and QC in our own factory. Designs stay yours and are never reused for other clients.
