How long have you been in business?+
Suncute Industries was established in 1983. We have over 40 years of experience in eyewear manufacturing, serving international brands and retail chains.

OEM/ODM & Custom Design

What is the difference between OEM and ODM?+
OEM (Original Equipment Manufacturing) means we manufacture frames based on your designs and specifications. ODM (Original Design Manufacturing) means we develop the design for you based on your brief, trends, and target market. We offer both services.
Can you develop frames from our own design?+
Yes. Send us your sketches, CAD files, or reference images and we will produce technical drawings, prototypes, and production samples. Our in-house design and engineering team handles the full development process.
Do we need to pay for mold tooling?+
For injection-molded frames, tooling costs apply for new mold development. Metal and acetate frames typically do not require mold tooling. We will quote tooling separately so you know the upfront investment before committing.
What is the typical development timeline for a new design?+
From concept to production-ready prototype, the typical timeline is 4 to 8 weeks depending on frame complexity and material. Simple injection frames are faster; combination frames with multiple materials take longer.

Production & Orders

What is the minimum order quantity (MOQ)?+
Our standard MOQ is 600 pieces per order, with a minimum of 300 pieces per model. Contact us for specific requirements based on your project.
What is the production lead time?+
Standard production lead time is approximately 90 days from order confirmation. This includes sample approval, material sourcing, and production. Timeline may vary depending on order complexity and current schedule.
What materials do you work with?+
We manufacture frames in acetate, metal (stainless steel and titanium), injection-molded materials (TR90, propionate, grilamid), and combination constructions. We also offer a range of lens options including polarized, photochromic, and blue-light filtering.

Quality & Compliance

What certifications do you hold?+
Our products carry CE marking for the European market, meet ANSI Z87.1 standards for safety eyewear, and comply with ISO 16321. Our facility is FDA registered and ISO 9001 certified.
Do your products meet international safety standards?+
Yes. We test all frames for impact resistance, optical quality, and material safety according to the requirements of the destination market. Our in-house testing covers drop ball, UV transmittance, and dimensional accuracy.
