OEM and ODM Scope
Suncute Industries supports both Original Equipment Manufacturing, producing eyewear based on client-provided designs and specifications, and Original Design Manufacturing, where products are developed from concept through design, engineering, and production. With over four decades of experience serving global brands, retailers, and distributors, we manufacture sunglasses, optical frames, functional eyewear, and safety frames for commercial-scale distribution.
In-House Development and Manufacturing
Our operations are built on a fully integrated, in-house manufacturing and development system. We support injection, metal, acetate, and hybrid constructions, allowing flexibility across design, performance, and cost requirements. Our internal teams include eyewear designers, professional 2D and 3D drafting specialists, and dedicated material and product development departments. This structure ensures that client designs or concepts are converted into production-ready technical specifications with manufacturability, compliance, and cost efficiency addressed early in the development phase.
Quality Control and Production Assurance
Quality control is managed internally across materials, processes, and finished goods. Our factory operates in-house raw material and finished product testing facilities to maintain consistent standards throughout development and production. All finished goods are fully inspected prior to shipment to minimize quality issues and ensure alignment with approved specifications. Supported by our Triple-Guard Quality approach and fully integrated in-house manufacturing, we provide purchasers with stable quality, controlled costs, predictable lead times, and reliable long-term supply.

FAQ
Frequently Asked Questions
Common questions from OEM and ODM partners about our manufacturing process, certifications, and timelines.
- 01
What is the minimum order quantity (MOQ)?
- We offer flexible MOQ for OEM and ODM programs across sunglasses, optical frames, functional eyewear, and safety eyewear. Sampling and pilot runs are available to validate fit, finish, and construction before scaling. Final MOQ depends on frame material, lens specification, and finishing complexity — share your project details and we will confirm.
- 02
What is the typical production lead time?
- Standard lead time is approximately 45 to 60 days from order confirmation and sample approval, depending on material sourcing, tooling requirements, and quantity. Repeat orders with approved specifications can be produced on shorter cycles.
- 03
Can you customize products for my brand?
- Yes. We support full OEM and ODM customization including frame color, lens tint and coatings, temple logo engraving, branded cases and cloths, custom packaging, and retail-ready labeling. Our in-house engineering team at Agilton Optical manages the full product development cycle from concept to mass production.
- 04
What certifications and quality standards apply to your eyewear?
- Our facility holds ISO 9001 (quality management system), FDA establishment registration, SMETA audit (Sedex ethical trade covering labour, health and safety, environment, and business ethics), and ISCC PLUS certification (chain-of-custody for bio-based, bio-circular, and recycled feedstocks). Our eyewear is produced in compliance with CE (EN ISO 12312-1 for sunglasses, EN ISO 12870 for optical frames, EN 166 / ISO 16321 for safety), FDA impact-resistance (21 CFR 801.410), and ANSI standards (Z80.3, Z87.1) for the US market. Every finished product is subject to full inspection before shipment. We are open to additional audits and certifications on program request, including BSCI and brand-specific supplier audits.
